About This Project

This tool was created by Ann Arbor parents Komal and Aalap Doshi as a small contribution to something much bigger: the incredible summer camp spreadsheet that Crystal Hoppe has coordinated and maintained for over ten years.

We've relied on Crystal's spreadsheet for years to help organize summer plans for our own kids. We built this tool as an addition to that amazing work—not a replacement for it—with the goal of making the information easier to explore and use.

Our hope is to continue developing this tool so that parents can quickly:

  • Filter camps by age, interests, and schedule
  • Save favorites
  • View options more easily
  • Sync plans with their family calendar

Most of all, we want to make summer planning a little less stressful.

Why We're Doing This

We're parents first, and like many families, we found ourselves juggling spreadsheets, tabs, and calendars each spring. We kept wishing this incredible resource could be easier to personalize for our own families—and that idea became this project.

We're committed to making this tool better over time, and we'd love your help. If there's something you wish it could do or something that would make it more useful, please tell us using the Feedback link at the bottom of this page. Your feedback will shape what we build next.

With Gratitude

This project exists because of the decade of work Crystal Hoppe has put into the summer camp spreadsheet. We're deeply grateful for that effort and hope this tool simply helps extend its usefulness for more families.
